97% of harassment cases happen when people walk alone. It's to fight against this unfortunate situation that Mon Chaperon app was created. Mon Chaperon connects users willing to share their nocturnal walking path. This mode of travel called cowalking offers to the most fearful a solution to be able to return home safely.
Social interaction being at the heart of the app, emphasis was placed on profiles clarity. Users can know precisely who shares their journey and consult comments left during previous journeys.
IDENTITY
The iconography is a mixture between a fox and one of the characteristic geolocation pictogram. Fox is a clever animal with a perfect knowledge of his environment and dangers that surround him. This values resonate with the app users.
CHAPERON
From the home screen, the user can access to various features of the app. They can search among the path already created or created their own.
PROFILE
Chaperon profiles are accessible by all users. They allow you to find out more about your cowalker thanks to the comment or notes left during previous trips.
PRIVATE CHAPERON
If you didn't find anyone to share your journey don't panic, there are private chaperon. They will escort you back for a fee indicated in their profiles.
FIND YOUR CHAPEON
FIND A PATH
The path are accessible in different ways. Users can first consult the path already created by other users trought the path list or the interactive map that group all departures nearby. If no route corresponds to his request, he can also create one himself and start a group of cowalker.
JOIN A GROUP
When a path corresponds to your destination, ask a request to the group leader to join cowalkers. Once accepted, you can consult other cowalker profiles and access to the group chat to plan your departure.
At the end of each cowalk users are invited to leave an appreciation to the other group members.
